The Bisket Basket Pet Business Story: This is where it all began! Two sisters sitting at the kitchen table driven by a passion for dogs - talking about what we can do to make a better life for as many pets as possible. We grew up on a farm and are from a family of animal lovers (dogs especially) and have always had at least a few dogs in our lives at any given time. Between our parents and us, we have 8 of some of the cutest dogs in the world (shown above). We treat them as if they were our children and in a way, they are! They are loved with all of our heart and there is nothing we wouldn’t do for them. Our first endeavor was to create a healthy and tasty biscuit recipe for our pets. Not finding a suitable selection at any pet supplier, we decided our only option was to create a recipe of our own. After doing so, it didn’t take long before dog lovers nationwide, from New York to California were contacting us and requesting a supply of our “biskets”. Taste tested and approved by a host of breeds, our dog biscuits became a huge success with both pets and their families. Wanting to improve upon this, we began creating fun-filled baskets that included our special-made treats as well as a myriad of toys and other items to entice pets. This is our story and how we turned a love of animals into a passion for creating artful baskets filled with warm wishes that awards the giver with smiles of joy. Once the pets started receiving their gourmet gift baskets... the owners became so jealous that we had to begin creating gifts filled with goodies for both. So we started designing gifts for both Pet and Pet Owner which quickly became some of our best selling gifts even to this day. Top businesses from famous TV and Movie stars to VH1, from Paramount Pictures to NASCAR and from 007 to Cast members of the TV sitcom Friends have sent and/or received gifts for pets and combo gifts from Bisket Baskets And More.
