Shipping Protection Policy & Claim Form
We offer optional Shipping Protection at checkout to give you added peace of mind. For a small percentage of your order total, your shipment is protected in the event of loss, damage, or theft during transit.
By selecting Shipping Protection, you agree to the terms outlined below.
What’s Covered
Shipping Protection helps safeguard your order in the event of:
- Lost packages - (confirmed by the carrier)
- Damaged items - during transit
- Delivered but not received packages (theft)
If an eligible issue occurs, we will gladly assist you with a replacement order or store credit.
Lost Shipments
If your package does not arrive:
- We will work with the carrier to initiate an investigation
- Claims will be approved once the shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier
Please note that shipping delays do not qualify as lost packages.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, we’re here to help. To process your claim, the following is required:
- Clear photos of the damaged item(s)
- Photos of the shipping box (exterior and interior)
- Photos of all packaging materials (padding, inserts, etc.)
Important:
All original packaging and damaged items must be retained until your claim has been fully reviewed and resolved. Failure to provide required documentation or retain packaging may result in denial of the claim.
Delivered but Not Received
If your tracking shows your package as “delivered” but you have not received it:
- Please allow at least 3 days for the package to arrive, as carriers may occasionally mark items delivered early
- Claims must be submitted no later than 15 days after the delivery date
For theft-related claims, a police report is required to proceed. This requirement helps protect both our
customers and our business from fraudulent claims.
How to File a Claim
To start a claim, scroll to bottom of page and complete our claims page. You will need:
- The email address used for the order
- Your Order Number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Required documentation (photos or police report, depending on claim type)
Your order will be eligible for a claim only if Shipping Protection was selected at checkout.
Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
Resolution
If your claim is approved, we will provide one of the following at our discretion:
- A replacement order, or
- Store credit for the value of the item(s)
Shipping Protection claims are limited to one replacement per order.
Important Notes & Exclusions
- Shipping Protection does not cover orders with incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout
- Claims must be submitted within the required timeframes
- Incomplete documentation may delay or result in denial of a claim
- We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages if Shipping Protection is not selected at checkout
- Heat-sensitive items (including chocolate) are not covered for melting or temperature-related damage
- All claims are subject to review and approval at our sole discretion
